Known for their dual-concept approach; featuring both a fully stocked package store and classic full-service lounges. The brand caters to a loyal patronage that prioritizes authentic atmosphere and timeless hospitality.
To translate their physical legacy into a digital footprint, Metz Liquors partnered on a debut web presence, including a custom website build and on-location photography. The goal was to establish a discoverable, welcoming, and consistent identity that honored their roots while modernizing their reach for a new generation.
The new digital platform unifies their two distinct locations into an intuitive, seamless introduction while establishing a visual language that respectfully nods to the era of their 1951 founding. Paired with retro-inspired typography and a warm, inviting palette, the design communicates a sense of familiar comfort, aligning with the brand's reputation as a neighborhood staple for over seven decades.
Photography direction emphasized the ambient character of the space itself—highlighting the genuine 'dive' atmosphere and the inviting warmth expected by locals. From the site layout to the visual assets, every element was guided by a sense of heritage, approachability, and the preservation of a local classic.
